Effect of Movie on Racism 1

I have recently watched this movie called "American History X", which is an extreme racist movie that features NeoNazi member. The movie is about this NeoNazi member who has a white-superiority mind and the movie shows how his life gets worse. Even though this movie was opened in 1999, I couldn't resist not talking about this film. Unlike other most of racist films, this film doesn't talk about how minority group was able to fight against racism. This film is seen in the eye of a racist individual and shows how racist people act toward other people and it shows their life as an extreme racist. The movie is very violent overall and it's R rated so it's not recommended for children. However, the reason why I couldn't resist not talking about this film is that this movie uses violence as the main medium to express racism. This film shows the violent side of racism and explictly shows that racism is an act of extreme violence. As the character in the film would show, violence becomes part of life for racists.
I think one of the most powerful tool that the movie have is the ability to describe it in a vivid way. The visual of the movie and the plot of movie is the most important tool that can move people's heart and their moral. This is why some movies become so controversial. This is also why I believe this movie is a very powerful movie that describes racism in a strong visual way.
