News channels and newspaper are supposed to be impartial and unbiased, and for the most part these media are showing responsibility in what they show. However, because the audiences trust these media, it becomes a huge problem when the news start to show biased view, especially on racist issue.
One big example would be the Western news on Middle Eastern region. It is no lie to state that the Western news are the biggest news provider. However, CNN and BBC are sometimes criticized for showing visuals and informations that may be biased for the Middle East countries. As a matter of fact, I believe the reason why we always seem to suspect Islamic people is because of the news that we see everyday. How many times do we see Islamic people burning US flags or shooting guns in the air in the news? Although this visual doesn't represent the majority of the Islamic people, the news make it seem like Middle East countries are wrapped in flame of chaos.
